My name is Ashley and I currently live in New York where I attend college…
I’ve been reading blogs since I got my first smart phone in the sixth grade. At first it was innocent. I read about how to make the perfect strawberry cupcakes and DIY room decorations. It wasn’t long before a shift took place. The ever evolving world of social media pushed me YouTube, where I’d watch vlogs. I watched clothing hauls, workout videos, and school morning routines. At such a young age, I didn’t notice what it was doing to me. Comparing not only the lives of strangers but their bodies, their material belongings and much more to my own.
Social media’s undeniable influence continues to shape my life. I don’t think we’ll ever get rid of it. That is unless I erase my profiles from every app I own. But if I’m honest, I wouldn’t ever want to do that. There are some good parts social has to offer. Those are the only part I’m interested in.

Was created in efforts to promote the idea of live authentically to who you are by finding and assigning value to every part of life. Even the smallest things. We each have one life and we can’t have anyone else’s. I have to make it my own. Mine. Just like you have to male it your own. Yours. There will never be another option.
I recognize that’s easier said than done. That’s why Yours And Yours Truly exists. May this platform inspire you to start a journey. Over and over again. May it force you to look deeply within and question. May it be an environment that supports a life that is your own full of honestly, love, and connection. All of which you are deserving of.
